About us
The Worldwide Friendship Net is a large group of Amateur Radio Operators (or HAMs), that get together on the air and on the Internet every day at 14:00 UTC (7:00am PST or 10:00am EST) for about one hour to exchange information and goodwill to all parts of our globe.
The net was started about fifteen years ago, and has been in continous operation, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year.
The net can be accessed via linked repeaters, Echolink and IRLP and is open to all licensed Amateur Radio Operators World Wide.
